Avery went out for her first stroll this afternoon which was a quick walk around the block but at least she was bundled up to much to even notice. Her nice hat slipped down over her eyes once in a while. This might be the last of the nice days before winter kicks in then she will be nice and bundled inside. Shes doing great, keeping mommy and daddy busy all night long and then sleeping most of the day. Need to work on that.

She looks so comfy in that picture. Don't worry, she will adapt to your cold weather and finally the diference between day and night. The last takes time and may be helped by waking her every two to three hours for feeding during the day. Soon she will have her last feeding late in the evening, but will be ready for her first feeding about 5 or 6 in the morning. Then, in time, she will spread those further apart. Just remember, this all takes time...her time. Babies nervious system matures slowly (like when they startle) and all of it is wrapped up together. Just keep doing activities with her during the day, but be careful not to over stimulate her in the evenings. She will finally figure out the diference between day and night (awake and sleep time).
