Its time to baby proof everything! Of course we had 8 months to do so but you know Avery just got up and got moving so fast. Now she darts all over and follows us around the house. She loves it to because she knows she is making us smile when she crawls. She gives us a huge grin and gets on her way.

Avery is so cute in that picture! Boy, has she grown fast. Now everything goes in the mouth, including little tufts of dust. I set aside a drawer in the kitchen with old pots and pans, things that jangled and colorful pieces of plastic ware. A drawer just for baby. All other drawers and cupboards got baby-proof locks! Also, be sure to anchor TV, bookcases and anything else that could topple over on her. These accidents can happen so fast, before you can get to her. Don't want to scare you, but it's best to be safe. Wont be long before she pulls herself up, starts walking and reaches that first birthday. How is the teething going? With summer here, you can freeze juice pops to cool those achy gums. Have fun while chasing her around the house.
