Psalm 2:1-3

Another week here my friend. I hope things are going well with you. Avery had a good weekend, with her first pony tail and sippy cut. I am thankful daily for that little bundle. She is awesome. Please keep praying for her and us that we continue to be wise and loving in all ways.

-----------------------------------------------------
Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break their bonds in pieces
And cast away their cords from us.”
Psalm 2:1-3

Our world is every changing in a direction that goes against everything godly and lawful. It is not hard to believe that one day all the nations of the earth will be declaring war on the Lord God, most are already close to that point if not already against Him. All of the people seek to become their own god, set up images to replace the Lord, and create new rules.

What kind of laws or bonds is the world trying to break that came from the Lord? When he made man, he made them male and female to be united as one in marriage. Marriage itself is being rewritten by the world and being twisted into something it was never meant to be. We see out school systems breaking down with the deliberate destruction of the truth and any moral compass. Our students are taught that absolutes do not exist. There are many more things of course that could be said.

Our Lord and His anointed, Jesus Christ, is over all governments and kings of this world. He is the Lord above all and His truth will endure forever, even beyond mankind’s attempts to destroy His Law. It is important for us then, in a world which is going against the Lord, to know the truth that is being attacked. We need to know where we stand as well with that Truth so we will not be swayed by the winds of doctrine seeking to lead us away from Jesus. The more we know Him, the more He will be made known through us, and the world will never be able to shake us.
